About POMPIDOU - POMPIDOU is named after the Centre Pompidou in Paris, a high-tech architectoral piece of art that houses the Musée National d'Art Moderne, the Bibliothèque publique d'information as well as the Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique.
"POMPIDOU is modelled after what we've come to expect from self catering accommodation while travelling Southern Africa," says Ilse De Vlieger, half of the Belgian-born founding couple of POMPIDOU. "Convenience, independence and a decor fitting for a modern life style are focus."
"We have intentionally selected sleek European furniture and accessories - some of them imported - and trendy colours," says Jeroen Seynhaeve. "The walls feature replicas of paintings by international artists, including Gustaf Klimt, Léon Spilliaert, James Ensor and Constant Permeke."
